About the position

As an Assembler II at Generac Power Systems, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, contributing to the assembly of energy technology solutions that power a smarter world. This position requires you to flexibly move between multiple workstations based on business needs, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently. You will be responsible for performing complex assembly work that adheres to strict tolerance and quality standards, all while maintaining the defined production rate. Your expertise will be essential in suggesting and implementing improvements to existing equipment, designs, and processes, with a focus on enhancing safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. In addition to your assembly duties, you will be expected to retrieve necessary information from our ERP system to facilitate your work. A key aspect of this role involves providing training to new employees on work instructions and standard operating procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the knowledge to perform their tasks effectively. You will also contribute to identifying problems within the assembly process and implementing appropriate countermeasures to resolve these issues, thereby supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1 year of complex assembly or related experience.
