The Assembler/Lead position at CECO Environmental involves leading a team of production employees in a manufacturing environment focused on safety and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of production employees, ensuring safety standards and deadlines are met.
• Assist in hands-on assembly and wiring of equipment, including testing for both electrical and water components.
• Perform quality inspections and factory acceptance tests (FAT).
• Provide guidance and instruction to production employees on proper procedures and work instructions.
• Follow engineering drawings and record hours for labor reporting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Wear all required safety equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
• Identify, report, and correct potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Pursue safety initiatives aligned with the company's vision of zero accidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience in a piping and assembly environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings.
• Good verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
