About the position

Responsibilities

• Installation of components to specifications using various hand and power tools and equipment.
• Ensures that the parts provided match the drawings and that the quality of the components meets quality standards.
• Interprets blueprints, process flow instructions, and other written or verbal instructions.
• Accurately reports shop floor production data to the Process or Team Lead for input to computer terminal and/or written reporting.
• Follows both visual and written work instructions to complete assigned tasks within the set time.
• Maintains quality and productivity standards.
• Maintains equipment, including daily cleaning to ensure good housekeeping and adherence to plant regulations and safety rules.
• Utilizes product travelers per standard operating procedures.
• Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience as an Assembler or General Laborer in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints (preferred).
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Consistent work history with good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to wear steel-toe shoes and safety glasses daily.
