Assembler

About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling various components while ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively on an assembly line, utilizing both hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Fabricate parts as needed for assembly processes.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow on the assembly line.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in training new employees on assembly procedures and safety protocols.
• Operate a forklift as necessary to move materials within the warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge is essential.
• Experience working on an assembly line or in a factory setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints or assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A valid forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
