About the position

The Assembler position involves assembling, fitting, fastening, and installing parts to create subassemblies for mechanical and electro-mechanical products. This role is suitable for individuals with assembly experience and those who are bilingual, providing an opportunity to work in a hands-on production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position parts for assembly, ensuring each component is fastened together correctly.
• Check connections and log any discrepancies.
• Read measurements, verify specifications, and measure completed components to assemble parts to approved specifications.
• Perform a variety of tasks in production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures following blueprint, illustration, and operation specification requirements.
• Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings, and assemblies.
• Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances to ensure proper fit and clearance.
• Use basic hand tools, i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers.
• Perform other related duties as may be required.

Requirements

• 1 year of assembly experience (Required).
• Experience in fastening, fitting, and installing (Preferred).
