About the position

The Assembler position at Precise Tool & Manufacturing Inc. involves assembling products according to project specifications, assisting with packaging, and conducting visual inspections of parts. The role requires operating various tools and equipment while adhering to quality management principles and ensuring product quality meets customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assembles product according to project specifications, including heli-coil installation and part marking.
• Assists Shipping and Receiving with preparing the product for delivery.
• Visually inspects parts and assembled pieces for defects and touches up paint finish as needed.
• Moves parts from station to station as required.
• Promotes and supports the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly or related field.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directives.
• Thorough operational knowledge and skills of assembly equipment.
• Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to keep record of time spent and material used.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
