Assembler

The Assembler position at Whirlpool Corporation involves working on an assembly line to assemble and install parts for refrigerators. Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations on the production line.
• Assemble and install parts and materials by hand or using tools/equipment.
• Transfer parts, materials, and products as needed.
• Clean and apply materials by hand or equipment.
• Crate and package materials, parts, and products.
• Use hand tools, electrical, hydraulic, and air-operated tools and equipment.
• Visually check for quality, fit, and finish of assembled products.
• Report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Record discrepancies and counts as required.
• Pack, unpack, count, and move materials, parts, scrap, trash, supplies, and production units.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
