About the position

The Assembler position at Kenco Engineering involves assembling subassemblies and product lines under the supervision of the department supervisor. The role requires following detailed assembly instructions and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment while contributing to team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Use company tooling and fixtures in a safe, efficient manner.
• Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and other materials for work to be performed.
• Follow step by step procedures for building and testing assemblies by following assembly instructions, drawings, and bills of materials.
• Prepare items for final assembly and packaging.
• Document actions by completing production, quality, and checklist forms.
• Maintain department inventories according to company rules and follow safety stock procedures to replenish inventories.
• Notify supervisor of any assembly or specification problems and follow procedures for non-conforming products.
• Keep company equipment and fixtures operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to a team environment by maintaining a friendly, positive work demeanor and a can-do attitude.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or company management.
