In this role, you will be responsible for gathering relevant blueprints, building sheets, and necessary parts and hardware for assembly. You will utilize your mechanical ability, work instructions, and hand tools to assemble products. Testing equipment when necessary is also part of your responsibilities. You will operate overhead cranes and lifting devices, perform quality inspections, and fill out necessary paperwork for record-keeping. Additionally, you will package and crate assembled products and load them for shipment, ensuring compliance with all DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to work safely and comply with all health and safety policies and procedures, using all designated personal protective equipment as required. Active involvement in continuous improvement and kaizen events is encouraged, and you must be able to work scheduled overtime hours.
