About the position
The Assembly Tech position involves assembling various outdoor and yard equipment, such as grills and patio furniture, for hardware stores. Assemblers work at multiple locations close to their homes, with flexible hours and pay based on the number of items assembled. This role is suitable for individuals of all ages and skill levels who enjoy hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Assemble grills, picnic tables, wheelbarrows, and other yard equipment inside hardware stores.
- Work at 2 or 3 closest locations to home, typically visiting each store once or twice a week.
- Lift and assemble items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Maintain efficiency to maximize earnings based on piecework pay.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Access to reliable transportation.
