About the position
The Assembly and Pack position involves assembling and packing various products such as clocks, curios, wardrobes, and cabinets. The role requires teamwork and the ability to follow instructions while ensuring quality in the assembly process.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and pack clocks, curios, wardrobes, and other cabinets.
- Install glass and mirrors, and hardware as required.
- Read blueprints and use appropriate hand tools.
- Follow job instructions and perform all operations on the assembly line.
- Move to different assembly stations based on workload.
- Work as part of a team to pack and load final assembled products.
- Regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds and push/move furniture cabinets in excess of 50 pounds using hand carts and other equipment.
- Reach up to 7 feet tall comfortably.
Requirements
- Experience in assembly work.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience using hand tools.
