About the position

Join our locally owned and bustling chocolate factory as an Assembly Line/Wrapping Machine Operator! This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be part of a team dedicated to producing high-quality chocolate products. The role involves a variety of tasks including melting, blending, and wrapping chocolate, ensuring that each product meets our high standards of quality. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and are enthusiastic about contributing to our delicious creations. The position is available for morning or afternoon shifts, with a standard work schedule of 8 hours starting at 6:00 AM. During the initial 60-day introductory period, the starting pay is $21.00 per hour, with the potential to increase to $22.00 per hour based on attendance and performance metrics. Responsibilities

  • Perform melting, blending, and wrapping of chocolate products.
  • Ensure quality standards are met during production.
  • Work efficiently on the assembly line to meet production goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety and health regulations in food production.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. repetitively.
  • Previous experience in food production or assembly line work is preferred.
  • Stable employment history is a must.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in warehouse work is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) in food processing.
