About the position

The Assembly Process Engineer at MPE Inc. is responsible for defining and optimizing the assembly processes for medical device products. This role involves creating and modifying work instructions, developing process steps, and ensuring quality requirements are met. The engineer will also establish line layouts, determine tooling needs, and provide technical support across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Define the process for the assembly of MPE products, creating and modifying work instructions.
• Create process steps and develop process drawings.
• Establish line layouts and station workflow.
• Determine tooling and fixture requirements.
• Provide technical manufacturing support throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Degree in a technical field such as mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering or related experience.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Pro-E, or CAD.
