About the position

The Assembly Process Engineer will be responsible for defining and optimizing assembly processes for products, creating and modifying work instructions, and developing process drawings. This role involves establishing line layouts, determining tooling and fixture requirements, and providing technical manufacturing support throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize assembly processes for products.
• Create and modify work instructions and process steps.
• Develop and create process drawings and quality instruction requirements.
• Establish line layouts and station workflow.
• Determine tooling and fixture requirements.
• Provide technical manufacturing support throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Experience with ERP systems, BOM, routing, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and time studies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with SolidWorks/Pro-E/CAD.
• Degree in a technical field such as mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering or related.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in developing process drawings.
• Ability to establish efficient line layouts and workflows.
• Proficiency in determining tooling and fixture requirements.
