About the position

Westmor Industries is seeking a dedicated Truck Manufacturing Technician to join their energetic and entrepreneurial team. This role involves hands-on assembly of various components for trucks and trailers, ensuring quality checks, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and adhering to safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Performing all necessary assembly routines before and after trucks and trailers are painted
• Installing pre-fabricated parts on trucks trailers
• Operating equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
• Reading and interpreting blueprints to perform proper assembly procedures
• Using a variety of hand tools to complete assembly procedures
• Installing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems on tanker trucks and trailers

Requirements

• Proficient in assembling various components
• Ability to conduct quality checks
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Strong attention to safety standards

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Familiarity with reading blueprints
