Assembly Technician

About the position

Master Flo Valve USA Inc. is seeking a full-time Assembly Technician to join their team in Houston, TX. This role involves assembling production line valves, performing repairs, and conducting testing in accordance with company standards. Responsibilities

• Assembly of production line valves in accordance with Master Flo Production Standards
• Tear-down, repair, and refurbishment of valve assemblies in accordance with Master Flo Repair procedures
• Pressure and function testing of valve assemblies in accordance with Master Flo Factory Acceptance Test Procedures
• Mounting, testing, and calibration of valve actuators in accordance with Master Flo procedures
• Painting of valve assemblies
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Demonstrates appropriate knowledge/handling of all shop equipment, materials, and chemicals used in the shop
• Adhering to Company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies

Requirements

• Experience repairing mechanical equipment is required
• A mechanical aptitude is required
• Effective written, verbal, and reading skills (English)
• Organized, able to maintain a clean working environment, and able to follow written procedures
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with valves would be an asset
• Overhead cranes experience is an asset, in-house training provided
• Forklift experience is an asset, in-house training provided
