About the position

As an Assembly Technician at our dynamic and growing company, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your primary responsibilities will include assembling various components, performing wiring and cabling tasks, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, and your attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality products will be essential to our success. You will work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime, and will be compensated at a rate of $15 per hour. In this role, you will identify and assemble components such as cabinets, doors, locks, and sheet metal parts, as well as specialty builds. You will also be responsible for the complete wiring and cabling of all assemblies and systems related to alarm options in the commercial chest area. Quality assurance is a key aspect of your job; you will check and test completed units and assemblies to ensure they adhere to specifications, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area in compliance with 6S standards is also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide instruction and training to team members as required, assist in various material handling tasks, and work on a variety of products. Monitoring quality data using Total Quality Checkpoints (TQC) and participating in required training will be part of your routine. You will also complete necessary forms and documentation according to your area of responsibility and perform basic data entry tasks such as scanning barcodes and reporting production numbers. The physical demands of the job include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, which is essential for handling components and materials effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements
