About the position
The Assembly Technician is responsible for welding, cutting, and assembling metal parts according to work orders, blueprints, and verbal instructions. This role requires familiarity with orbital welding systems and adherence to safety protocols and clean room procedures.
Responsibilities
- Weld, cut, and assemble metal parts
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Participate in training to learn basic department functions
- Maintain tools, gauges, and equipment
- Comply with company policies and safety requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma, equivalent, or related experience required
- Ability to focus on and complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to train in multiple disciplines
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
