About the position

The Assembly & Test (AT) Manufacturing Systems Change Engineer at Micron Technology is responsible for maintaining and developing manufacturing master data, ensuring compliance with company policies and change management processes. This role involves collaboration with IT, business, and manufacturing teams to implement system configurations and improvements, while also supporting project tasks and training stakeholders on system changes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain manufacturing master data in compliance with company policies and change management rules.
  • Develop expert knowledge of AT manufacturing systems, including Micron in-house solutions and Siemens software.
  • Liaise with IT, business, and manufacturing to understand requirements and collaborate on system updates.
  • Assist in the deployment of changes and improvements as needed.
  • Understand PLM core competencies related to manufacturing line changes and master data management.
  • Communicate changes to the network as per established business processes.
  • Support and lead project tasks effectively.
  • Maintain system configurations with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Support and maintain systems change management processes.
  • Resolve customer issues related to systems and configurations.
  • Collaborate with the AT Systems Frontier Team on continuous improvement activities.
  • Test and verify changes and improvements with Manufacturing and IT departments.
  • Track, report, and drive improvements using metrics for change management effectiveness.
  • Update and create documentation to reflect changes as necessary.
  • Train customers and support teams on system changes and new processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
  • At least three years of experience with manufacturing controls systems and/or master data management.
  • Experience with Siemens Team Center, Critical Manufacturing MES, MAM, ATLAS, WWMS, CTS.
  • Project management experience.
  • Database skills with SQL scripts and stored procedures are a plus.
