About the position
The Assembly Tester Packer role at Current involves adjusting test equipment, performing wiring and test procedures to ensure product quality, and assisting in assembly operations. This position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of lighting products and ensuring they meet engineering specifications.
Responsibilities
- Adjust test equipment to meet Engineering specifications on lighting products and perform pretest procedures.
- Perform wiring and test procedures to ensure product meets quality specifications and inform the supervisor of any deviations.
- Inspect and attach proper labels and stamps personal I.D. to data marker.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required or assigned.
- Adhere to all departmental and plant safety rules.
- Perform rework as required or assigned.
- Assist other operations on the line when needed and perform some assembly operations at the test position.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, specification books, engineering prints, operation sheets, and bills of materials.
- Ability to assemble cartons/inserts from flat stock, pack finished units (frequently up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 30 lbs), seal cartons, apply labels, and place on skids.
