About the position

The Assessment and Evaluation Coordinator at the University of South Carolina Upstate plays a crucial role in supporting the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance as well as the Office of Institutional Planning and Research. This position is responsible for designing, coordinating, and administering assessments at both the institutional and program levels, utilizing data-driven approaches to inform stakeholders and enhance institutional effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and administer institutional-level and program-level assessments.
• Create and administer surveys through Qualtrics or institutional portals.
• Coordinate standardized testing and course evaluations for all academic credit-bearing courses.
• Analyze university data to inform campus stakeholders and prepare reports in various formats.
• Coordinate requests for administering Educational Testing Services (ETS) assessments for academic units.
• Assist with campus assessment design, development, and analysis.
• Prepare and present reports communicating the results of data analysis.
• Provide administrative support for Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance and Institutional Planning and Research.
• Coordinate information updates for Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance and Institutional Planning and Research intranet and webpages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2 years of professional experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of quantified data.
