Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of walk-in and phone callers to ensure appropriate referrals to services or resources.
- Assist in scheduling initial psychiatric assessments for patients seeking treatment for substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric disorders.
- Present patient symptoms to psychiatrists for recommendations on care.
- Refer and triage patients to other treatment sources when necessary.
- Answer inquiry calls regarding treatment options and the facility, documenting calls and setting appointments for callers seeking treatment.
- Collaborate with the business office to ensure a smooth transition into the admission process.
Requirements
