About the position

As an Assessment / Evaluation Engineer at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in transforming technology into opportunities by providing technical, administrative, and operational leadership in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). This position involves designing, developing, and integrating systems to enhance the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN-A) and ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements through rigorous testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned projects or tasks.
• Participate in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task orders.
• Analyze the results of software, hardware, or interoperability testing.
• Develop test plans to address specifications and requirements.
• Make recommendations based on test results.
• Involved in all phases of the testing program, from designing test parameters to troubleshooting errors and writing final test procedures.
• Perform developmental testing on systems under consideration.
• Perform interoperability testing on systems exchanging electronic information with other systems.
• Record and manage test data.
• Test, evaluate, and verify hardware and/or software to determine compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
• Validate specifications and requirements for testability.

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• 10 - 15 years of experience in the information technology field
• DoD 8570.1-M Certification: IAT level II Certification
• Computing Environment Certification, Microsoft Intermediate Certification, CISA, CCNA or equivalents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of engineering and testing procedures
