Asset Care Planner/Scheduler

About the position

The Asset Care Planner/Scheduler role at INEOS Acetyls is designed to ensure the effective planning and scheduling of non-emergency preventive and corrective maintenance work. This position is crucial for maintaining safe, compliant, and reliable plant operations by managing maintenance system master data and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The role involves collaboration with various teams to optimize maintenance processes and support the overall operational efficiency of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSSE standards and promote safe behaviors within the team.
• Plan routine and preventive maintenance jobs, producing job packages and estimates for large jobs.
• Schedule material and manpower for maintenance work orders, delivering a fully engineered plan for a rolling 3-month window.
• Provide centralized maintenance support, ensuring compliance with planning processes and managing PM performance.
• Manage budget and cost for maintenance activities, forecasting labor and material costs using SAP.
• Serve as a backup for the Asset Care and Inspection Superintendent, supervising technicians and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a petrochemical environment or 10+ years in planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance Module, including creating and managing maintenance items and task lists.
• TWIC Card required prior to employment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with equipment inspection and repairs.

Nice-to-haves

• NCCER Certification in related mechanical crafts.
• Experience with Viziya software.
• Strong leadership and self-starter abilities.
