About the position

The Asset Class Program Manager at T. Rowe Price plays a crucial role in leading complex product management and development initiatives within the Asset Class Product Management (ACPM) teams. This position focuses on creating structured approaches to product development, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring effective project management to drive business growth and enhance investment strategies across asset classes globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management activities for complex initiatives.
• Create detailed workplans and synthesize project plans requiring significant stakeholder management.
• Develop project goals, identify risks, and allocate resources effectively.
• Establish governance for assigned projects, including sponsors and stakeholders.
• Manage contributions of workstream leads to ensure value delivery within timelines.
• Monitor interdependencies and synergies between multiple projects.
• Provide transparency in project progress and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Craft feasible solutions to address risks and issues proactively.
• Communicate effectively with senior management and peers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 8+ years of total relevant work experience, ideally in asset management.
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Investment and product knowledge.
• Product and/or project management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• CFA not required but highly additive.
