About the position

The Asset Demand Planner at Sterling Solutions LLC is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of site access assets and accessories throughout their product life cycle. This role focuses on ensuring timely planning and scheduling of asset inventory to support customer job sites, thereby increasing utilization and achieving financial returns and delivery dates. The planner will work collaboratively with various teams to maintain forecasts and manage inventory effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the flow of site access assets and accessories through the complete product life cycle.
  • Provide timely planning and scheduling of asset inventory to support customer job sites.
  • Prioritize job orders as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Utilize experience with logistics, MRP/ERP systems, and engineering drawings to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Maintain a perpetual forecast of asset rental and sale requirements in each region.
  • Assist in directing the allocation and delivery of mats to specific customer job sites based on availability.
  • Attend meetings with sales and construction teams to develop regional asset inventory levels.
  • Confirm and monitor mat asset inventory against sales forecasts to communicate needs for additional resources.
  • Measure and improve the service life of assets to maximize return on investment.
  • Manage mat repair processes to reduce costs and prioritize backlog across the supply chain.
  • Monitor, analyze, and review key planning parameters to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Logistics Team to reduce freight costs and improve asset allocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in materials management, supply chain, or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in production planning and/or asset planning and management.
  • Experience with MRP systems is required; Navision MRP is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
