About the position

As an Asset & Inventory Manager at Verizon, you will oversee the management of Configuration Items (CIs) essential for delivering lifecycle support for Managed Security and Managed Network Services. Your role will involve maintaining a comprehensive model of hardware and software components, ensuring accurate inventory across multiple environments, and leading governance processes to address discrepancies. You will also be responsible for producing reports on inventory status and collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues related to asset management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern the inventory management process.
• Collect, audit, and maintain asset data for each data center location.
• Create, disseminate, and review weekly/monthly/quarterly inventory reports.
• Audit and update the inventory database; coordinate with asset owners for accuracy.
• Produce inventory reports for all organizational levels.
• Lead all Asset Inventory Governance activities.
• Ensure devices have accurate end of life and end of support information.
• Identify gaps in inventory and develop remediation plans.
• Assist in conducting comprehensive physical inventory audits across global data centers.

Requirements

• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• At least one year of experience with Device42 and ServiceNOW.
• At least one year of OSS experience.
• Background in telecommunications or similar industry.
• Top Secret Security Clearance.
