About the position

The Client Service role at J.P. Morgan Asset Management is focused on maintaining and enhancing client relationships for over 1800 Asset Management clients across various sectors. This position is integral to delivering exceptional service, managing client needs, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience. The role emphasizes process improvements and aims to create measurable results that lead to enhanced efficiency and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the service relationship for an assigned group of clients, aligned with the Client Advisor & Client Investment Specialist.
  • Act as the central point of contact for clients for non-investment related activity and proactively manage and develop relationships with clients.
  • Coordinate and manage all client life-cycle events, including onboarding, fees, guidelines, benchmarks, reporting, and other client requests.
  • Oversee the Investment Management Agreement negotiation process, ensuring finalization and execution with the client.
  • Communicate client-impacting regulatory and business changes to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain client records and coordinate client cash flows.
  • Verify client eligibility for participation in fund vehicles and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Collaborate with the RFP Team to provide information and responses to prospect questions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience at an asset management firm, with a background in client service and/or institutional client base.
  • Ability to develop strong client and internal relationships and an in-depth understanding of client servicing needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a risk and control mindset.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage complex assignments.
  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degrees or financial qualifications (e.g., CFA, Series 7) are a plus.
