About the position

The Asset Management Investment Research Analyst at Regions is responsible for assisting in the selection, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of investment managers. This role involves identifying and recommending investment managers, conducting due diligence, managing relationships with external managers, and writing investment-related white papers. The position is designed for individuals who are results-oriented and possess a strong drive for knowledge in investments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the selection, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of investment managers.
• Identify and recommend investment managers in assigned sub-asset classes.
• Perform ongoing due diligence and monitoring of assigned investment managers.
• Recommend managers for inclusion within Regions Asset Management model portfolios.
• Manage relationships with external third-party managers.
• Write white papers on investment-related topics.
• Conduct research focused on individual securities/issuers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience using Bloomberg and/or Factset.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proactive with a drive for knowledge regarding investments of all types.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Business Administration and/or CFA Charter.
