About the position

The Large Language Model (LLM) Platform Strategist - Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management is a pivotal role focused on integrating AI into the organization's products. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and implement a comprehensive LLM platform that aligns with the broader AI strategy of the business. The strategist will manage multiple priorities, ensuring that the platform meets the evolving needs of the asset management sector while driving innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement an Asset Management-wide LLM platform.
• Manage multiple stakeholders, addressing their needs and expectations throughout the development process.
• Create and maintain a platform roadmap to incorporate long-term needs and provide transparency on delivery timelines.
• Engage with engineers to understand technical requirements for the LLM platform and ensure they are incorporated into the backlog.
• Maintain a governance structure to align the backlog with business priorities and strategic goals.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding progress and any issues that arise.
• Partner with fellow AI Strategists to refine the AI strategy in response to business needs and the evolving AI landscape.
• Continuously seek ways to improve the development process and the LLM platform.

Requirements

• Proven track record in delivering successful platforms aligned with broader strategies.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with experience managing multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with data scientists/quants and engineers.
• Experience in systems design for data-centric applications, including scalable data pipelines for real-time analytics.
• Knowledge of data architectures and cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
• Familiarity with RAG patterns and data privacy regulations, including GDPR compliance.
• Proficiency in modern development practices, including Agile methodologies.
