About the position

As an Asset Manager/Classified Help Desk professional at Lockheed Martin, you will play a crucial role in supporting the National Space Security Line of Business within the Enterprise Operations division. This position is based in Littleton, Colorado, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance, along with U.S. citizenship for access to the work facility. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and control IT hardware assets, ensuring compliance with the Corporate Information Protection Manuals (CIPM) and all customer requirements. This includes tracking, updating, validating, and ordering hardware assets, as well as assisting users with technical issues related to applications, connectivity, and other IT-related challenges. In this fast-paced environment, you will utilize Microsoft Office tools and Service Central/Service Now to maintain asset records, forecast hardware requirements for various programs, and conduct periodic audits of asset records. You will also be responsible for the installation and configuration of desktop operating systems, managing vulnerability remediation, and coordinating hardware repair activities. Your role will require you to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, build workstations from an image server, and install application software on desktop systems. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently while advocating for change and continuous improvement in asset management processes. Responsibilities

  • Provide support to critical programs within the National Space Security Line of Business.
  • Manage, control, and ensure compliance of Lockheed Martin IT hardware with Corporate Information Protection Manuals (CIPM).
  • Track, update, validate, and order hardware assets.
  • Assist users in resolving technical issues with applications, connectivity, and other IT-related problems.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools and Service Central/Service Now to update asset records.
  • Forecast hardware requirements for programs and manage day-to-day activities.
  • Conduct setup and periodic audits of asset records and system security settings.
  • Coordinate hardware repair activities and manage vulnerability remediation and firmware updates.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software problems and issues.
  • Build workstations from image server and install application software on desktop systems.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI W/Poly clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required for access to the work facility
  • Ability to obtain Security+ Certification within 90 days of hire
  • Experience with asset management processes and concepts
  • Understanding and experience in project planning and management
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience maintaining asset records for IT hardware
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software problems
  • Experience building from image server and maintaining desktop operating systems
  • Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Advocate for change and continuous improvement
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 30lbs.
