About the position

IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity. The Asset Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing asset management strategies to effectively manage inventories of hardware and software assets, including laptops, mobile devices, software licenses, and supplier agreements. This position requires a proactive approach to asset management, ensuring that all assets are tracked, maintained, and utilized efficiently to support the organization's goals. The Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role involves collaborating with various teams to assess asset needs, optimize resource allocation, and implement best practices in asset management. The successful candidate will work on-site in Tampa, FL, and must possess a minimum of an active DOD Secret clearance. Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements asset management strategies to manage inventories of hardware and software assets including laptops, mobile devices, software licenses, and supplier agreements.
  • Oversees the lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborates with various teams to assess asset needs and optimize resource allocation.
  • Implements best practices in asset management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years relevant experience in asset management or related field.
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline; Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree; 6 years work experience may also be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work with teams but also self-motivated to complete projects independently.
  • Ability to work fully on-site with minimal accommodation.
  • Must have at a minimum active DOD Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with emerging technology solutions including Enterprise Architecture (EA) and data science.
  • Familiarity with application development and management support.
