About the position

The Asset Manager (Logistics Analyst) role at GDIT involves supporting intelligence customers by managing government property administration and inventory control. This position requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and focuses on ensuring compliance with government regulations while maintaining accurate records of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The Logistics Analyst will perform various clerical and manual tasks, coordinate with vendors, and prepare reports, all while adhering to strict inventory management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform government property administration and accounting duties.
  • Maintain an inventory of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Adhere to inventory control and distribution procedures.
  • Maintain accurate receipts and invoices for materials and equipment.
  • Review organizational procurement activities for inbound/outbound projections.
  • Prepare government-required reports and represent the program during audits.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for equipment and parts management.
  • Implement processes to maintain compliance with government property regulations.
  • Establish and maintain annual inventory procedures and audit processes.
  • Oversee transactions to minimize personnel access to sensitive areas.
  • Track and report metrics regarding inventories and shipments.
  • Utilize small hand tools and operate material handling equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse or supply room.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in logistics, traffic, and/or supply chain management.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory records and control, property management, and government reporting requirements.
  • Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to coordinate with vendors for RMA actions.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and government logistics practices.
  • Experience with inventory control systems such as Service +, IFS, SC360, and PSAM is highly desired.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to operate a 24-foot box truck.
