About the position

The Asset Manager for Multifamily properties will oversee the financial performance, asset preservation, and risk management of a diverse portfolio. This role is crucial for maintaining standard operating procedures and ensuring compliance with various housing regulations and financing programs.

Responsibilities

• Bolster standard operating procedures for financial performance and asset preservation.
• Manage risk associated with the portfolio of multifamily properties.
• Interpret limited partnership agreements and financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with housing regulations such as Section 8, HUD, and LIHTC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited College/University.
• 3+ years of experience in Asset Management.
• 3+ years in Financial Analysis.
• Demonstrated knowledge of public/private sector housing developments and financing programs (Section 8, HUD, HOME, Tax Exempt Bonds, and Tax Credit).
• Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
