As an Asset Manager supporting the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms remotely and in Washington, D.C., you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on the Asset Manager joining our team to ensure Congress' upper body has the IT support and resources it needs to serve the American public. Assuming responsibility for the success of all IT asset lifecycle services such as purchasing, asset management, warehousing, and the coordination and technical support for IT HW and SW installations; evaluating and monitoring the security practices of vendors and supply chain partners; maintaining program service levels and specifications as they pertain to IT assets and end user support SLAs; establishing and maintaining strong relationships with HW, SW, and support vendors; adhering to a formal change control process to ensure agreement on all objectives and tasks; and adhering to the quality assurance plan for the program and all task orders. To succeed in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience) in a relevant field and an ITIL 4 Foundation Certification. You should have at least eight (8) years of experience providing end-user support services, five (5) of which were spent providing direct customer support. Additionally, you will have four (4) years of experience managing a large, distributed team, configuration management (i.e., CMDBs), and vendor management. Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Standards is also required. All contract personnel must pass a United States Capitol Police background check and are required to be U.S. persons (i.e., US Permanent Resident) to be eligible to work on the contract. Experience delivering to 'white glove' service standards including serving a large VIP population is essential.
