This includes negotiating and enforcing end-of-lease transactions and disposing of returned equipment. The position also involves establishing and forecasting collateral and residual values for equipment lease transactions, which requires researching and analyzing technological trends and developments that may affect residual exposure. The Asset Manager must work collaboratively with customers, internal departments, and third parties to develop strategies that minimize loss and maximize asset value. Regular travel to client locations for on-site equipment inspections is a key component of this role, along with trips to manufacturers, vendors, and relevant industry gatherings as needed to fulfill job duties.
