As we continue to expand our portfolio of renewable energy projects, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. RWE Clean Energy's Asset Management team takes accountability for the commercial success of a greater than 10 GW portfolio of renewable energy assets. Through close collaboration with Operations & Maintenance and various Financial stakeholders, the team drives tactical and strategic initiatives optimizing the performance of all assets. As an Asset Manager, you will function as a member of a decentralized team supporting RWE's Asset Management activities of renewable generation and related facilities in North America. Your role will be crucial in assuring safety, minimizing budget variances, and maximizing profitability in accordance with the company's Mission Statement. You will manage all commercial and contractual obligations for a portfolio of renewable energy assets, working with various internal and external stakeholders. Adhering to the company's values and behaviors as aspired by RWE Clean Energy Vision, you will report to the Vice President of Asset Management and have overall accountability, responsibility, and authority in executing the business and affairs of assigned assets. Utilizing a strong entrepreneurial mindset, you will develop and implement strategic and tactical plans by studying market conditions and internal operational needs. You will identify technological and commercial opportunities, present assumptions, and recommend objectives and execution strategies necessary to achieve agreed performance targets to the Vice President of Asset Management. In conjunction with the VP of Asset Management, you will develop and execute the annual business plan and mid-term plan (MTP), including financial, budget, and FTE requirements. Coordination of planning and execution efforts with all stakeholder departments will be essential, establishing strong, collaborative relationships with support departments that provide essential skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to effectively and profitably deliver cost savings and achieve goals. You will also establish credibility in the marketplace with suppliers and manufacturers, identifying new business opportunities within delegated levels of authority and consistent with the approved strategic objectives. Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and performance metrics across all lines of business will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will implement and continuously improve local asset management systems and processes consistent with organizational policies and standards.
