About the position

The Asset Optimization Manager at Constellation is responsible for leading the financial evaluation of operational and commercial scenarios for the company's electric generation assets. This role involves developing financial models, analyzing performance, and driving initiatives that align with business objectives to enhance asset value and support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain asset-specific, long-term financial valuation models for the Exelon Power generation fleet.
• Develop and lead cross-organizational teams to evaluate current and future operational/financial performance of Exelon Power generation assets.
• Understand the key drivers of asset value, and define and evaluate risks & opportunities for value creation.
• Leverage financial modeling to inform capital allocation, commercial transactions, regulatory initiatives, and corporate development/project financing opportunities.
• Develop operational/financial initiatives in alignment with business planning processes.
• Support key decision makers by developing and presenting audience-appropriate business case material.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BS in finance, accounting, or economics with 8 or more years of finance experience.
• Project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience with financial analysis.
• Demonstrated research and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand budgets, financial statements, and discounted cash flow analysis.
• Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interact and work with all levels of management.
