The Asset Protection Coordinator at Banana Republic is responsible for safeguarding the company's people, assets, and brand integrity. The coordinator will conduct investigations, train store leaders, and collaborate with law enforcement to mitigate risks and enhance safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate external theft and fraud trends within a specific market and group of stores.
• Conduct investigations focusing on habitual offenders and high-impact theft incidents using company technology.
• Teach and train Store Leaders and Brand Associates on safe practices for handling theft events.
• Collaborate with law enforcement to develop detailed cases against habitual offenders.
• Support emergency preparedness, risk analysis, and threat mitigation efforts.
• Deliver on objectives related to shortage and safety programs.

Requirements

• Experience in loss prevention leadership and coaching.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for negotiation and consensus building.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Research skills to identify root causes of errors in processes or transactions.
• Experience in training and onboarding new employees.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in retail or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CCTV and incident reporting systems.
