About the position

The Asset Protection Manager II will lead the Regional Corporate Security Operations for banking centers and campus facilities, overseeing regional supplier relationships, invoice processing, and various Corporate Security Projects. This role is crucial in providing and leading asset protection, security training, and investigative services for region-specific leased and owned spaces. The manager will also provide national leadership in the physical security discipline, ensuring the safety and protection of employees, customers, and assets. The position requires a proactive approach to security management, with the manager being on call and available to respond 24/7 within a large geographical market. In terms of responsibilities, the Asset Protection Manager will lead Asset Protection Managers in responding to and supporting investigations of bank robberies, directing them to provide reports and finalize them for security-related incidents. The role also involves leading security-related training for all bank employees and conducting site analyses for banking centers and campus facilities in collaboration with Asset Protection Managers. The manager will participate in various assignments, including executive protection, disaster recovery responses, and other special events. Additionally, the manager will oversee contract security officer activities, managing 10-15 security officers who provide physical protection for CMA buildings and banking centers. This includes reviewing and approving contract security invoices. The role also encompasses the design, management, and installation of security technology systems, such as access control, burglar alarms, and surveillance systems at banking centers and leased/owned facilities. The manager will communicate security enhancements to the security leadership team and lead various security projects as assigned. Leadership and communication are key components of this role, as the manager will provide subject matter expertise and mentorship to Asset Protection Managers, coordinating duties and building effective partnerships to ensure high-value delivery to customers. Essential updates and information will be communicated to the security leadership as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Asset Protection Managers in responding to and supporting investigations of bank robberies.
  • Direct Asset Protection Managers to provide reports and finalize them for bank robberies and other security related incidents and investigations.
  • Lead security related training and support/consulting to all bank employees.
  • Lead site analysis for banking centers and campus facilities in partnership with Asset Protection Managers.
  • Participate in assignments including executive protection, disaster recovery responses and other special events.
  • Manage Contract Security Officer Activities in partnership with Asset Protection Managers Per Master Service Agreement.
  • Oversee 10-15 Security officers (Building and Roaming Patrols) who provide physical protection of CMA buildings and banking centers.
  • Direct Asset Protection Managers to provide Special Coverage when needed and step in to provide coverage as needed.
  • Review and Approve contract security invoices.
  • Lead the design, management, and installation of various access control, burglar alarm, and surveillance systems at banking centers and Leased/Owned facilities.
  • Communicate security enhancements to Security leadership team as needed.
  • Lead various Security projects as assigned.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, share experience, and demonstrate leadership to Asset Protection Managers in specific aspects of the physical security function.
  • Coordinate duties with Asset Protection Managers.
  • Build effective partnership with the Asset Protection Managers and provide mentoring and support especially with respect to refining and managing Security planning and processes.
  • Leads coordination and collaboration across Asset Protection Managers to ensure delivery of high value to the customer.
  • Communicate essential updates and information to Security leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related field
  • 6 years of law enforcement and/or specialized physical security experience or security related fields
  • 4 years of physical security leadership experience
