About the position
The Asset Protection Officer at Macy's is responsible for safeguarding company assets and ensuring the safety of associates within the facility. This part-time role involves monitoring activities, responding to emergencies, and enforcing facility regulations to maintain a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete inbound and outbound trailer logs, common carrier logs, and discrepancy reports.
- Maintain access control for all individuals entering and exiting the facility.
- Respond to alarm systems and building emergencies.
- Conduct audits on common carriers and monitor associate activities.
- Enforce all facility rules and regulations.
- Operate power equipment and CCTV.
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is essential.
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to alarm systems and emergencies.
- Strong understanding of facility rules and regulations for enforcement.
- Technical proficiency in operating power equipment and CCTV.
Nice-to-haves
- Priority security experience in a distribution center environment is preferred.
