About the position

The Asset Protection Operations Coordinator at Abercrombie & Fitch is responsible for overseeing all administrative and program coordination for the global Asset Protection Field teams. This role involves managing communication related to new stores, expense management, and various Asset Protection needs. The coordinator will handle budgetary responsibilities for new store equipment, manage store guards and safe processes, and maintain a clearinghouse of Asset Protection information, including training documentation and personnel files. Additionally, the coordinator will support both virtual and in-person events for the Asset Protection department.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all Asset Protection-specific activities for field personnel, including new hires, terminations, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with IT on hardware setup, distribution setup, and access grants, as well as equipment recovery.
  • Build onboarding schedules and maintain training materials.
  • Manage personnel files, including performance-based documentation and accreditations.
  • Support and manage all Asset Protection vehicles through a nominated corporate provider.
  • Maintain strong communication with Asset Protection's HR Business Partner and Recruiter.
  • Send final-week termination and equipment checklists; complete system cleanup.
  • Manage the field mentorship program.
  • Support the expense management process, including processing high-risk/flagged expense reports.
  • Organize and coordinate Asset Protection meetings, including recurring calls, field team visits, and quarterly meetings, while managing the engagement budget.
  • Manage the budget, installation, and inventory for all new and existing store-related Asset Protection equipment, including contract security guards when necessary.
  • Draft and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain relevant process training materials.
  • Resolve issues pre/post-open and manage safe processes for the global stores fleet.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with Home Office Development, Store Communications, and Store Construction.
  • Coordinate execution of annual Asset Protection Awareness Week and Safety Week materials.
  • Participate in and support all Asset Protection committees.
  • Provide ad hoc support to Asset Protection field personnel to assist in issue resolution.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-2 years of work experience within Asset Protection/Loss Prevention or equivalent required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
  • Experience with Asset Protection-related hardware/equipment/systems preferred
  • Event coordination experience preferred
  • Experience with documentation-building software (e.g. Adobe, InDesign) required
  • PO-writing experience preferred
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to be flexible to changing demands and respond to feedback
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, structured environment
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners
