About the position

The Asset Protection Supervisor (APS) plays a crucial role in supporting Asset Protection Management by implementing and executing asset protection programs. This includes leading internal and external investigations, managing shortage control and safety programs, and fostering awareness of these initiatives within the store. The APS is responsible for training and developing Asset Protection Associates, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and acting as a role model for customer-centric behavior.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the execution of internal investigations and external protection programs.
• Ensure staff follows all policies and procedures related to apprehensions and CCTV usage.
• Communicate safety and shortage action plans with store leadership.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with Asset Protection, store leadership, and associates.
• Maintain building security and manage opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of direct experience in asset protection or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• Resourceful self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must satisfy licensing requirements as required by state or local jurisdiction.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in retail asset protection or loss prevention.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and security protocols.
