The Asset Risk Program Manager at PacifiCorp is a pivotal role responsible for the development and coordination of an integrated risk strategy that aligns various programmatic efforts related to wildfire risk, reliability, and resilience within a unified framework. The Asset Risk Organization plays a crucial role in enhancing system performance and reliability while also focusing on wildfire risk reduction. The manager will oversee the development, approval, tracking, and reporting of cross-functional work aimed at achieving strategic objectives outlined in the integrated risk strategy. In this role, the program manager will be tasked with preparing a comprehensive risk strategy for electric system resilience. This includes creating an integrated framework for risk assessment, data analysis, and strategic planning. The manager will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to implement operational and engineering risk mitigation programs, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with the company's strategic goals. Regular interaction with PacifiCorp executives will be necessary to communicate progress, secure approvals for business proposals, and facilitate strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Asset Risk Program Manager will support regulatory activities by preparing testimony, responding to data requests, and engaging with regulators and other utilities. The role also involves conducting benchmarking with other utilities to identify best practices and lessons learned, which will be incorporated into the integrated risk strategy. Participation in workshops, conferences, and regulatory meetings will be essential to stay informed about risk strategy and mitigation planning developments. The manager will also identify and prioritize business requirements for technology support in program execution, tracking, and reporting, working closely with the Palantir Foundry product team.
