The Private Wealth Management (PWM) business under the Wealth Management division at Goldman Sachs provides comprehensive investment management services and advice across a full range of asset classes for high net worth individuals. PWM leverages a global technology platform that offers an integrated suite of tools and applications to service clients effectively. This platform is designed to help realize a client's goals and objectives, develop and implement an integrated wealth management plan, and deliver first-class client service. Core Custody engineering within Wealth Management is responsible for supporting critical functions related to managing clients' assets, including ledger maintenance, trade processing, asset transfers, corporate actions, cash management, and interest calculations. As part of a multi-year initiative aimed at streamlining these functions and workflows for clients, sales teams, and operations, the firm is investing in a significant platform uplift. To support this initiative, we are looking for strong server-side developers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end application development, working directly with key stakeholders across global teams to ensure that the solutions meet the needs of the business. In this role, you will act as a hands-on developer tasked with building the next generation of engineering solutions. Collaborating with a global team, you will design and develop a robust and responsive user experience using Java with Spring Boot as the backend technology. Development will follow an agile methodology, and deliverables will include automated tests and comprehensive documentation. Developers will be encouraged to bring new ideas, best practices, and a strong commitment to quality to the table, ensuring that the solutions developed are not only functional but also innovative and efficient.
