About the position

The Vice President of ETF Marketing at Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management will lead the global growth of the ETF franchise, collaborating with client-facing business leaders and investment teams to develop marketing strategies that enhance product positioning and drive business growth. This role involves overseeing the execution of marketing plans for new product launches, creating impactful marketing collateral, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines while fostering strong partnerships across various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build awareness and affinity for AM's ETF investment capabilities through strategic marketing plans.
  • Develop unique ETF product positioning and ensure messaging pillars are infused in all marketing assets.
  • Implement marketing plans for new ETF product launches and major announcements.
  • Oversee the creation of ETF product-specific marketing collateral in partnership with the Creative Design team.
  • Map out a coordinated product-specific calendar that aligns with AM's content calendar.
  • Collaborate with Media Relations to showcase ETF investments.
  • Leverage insights from market researchers and marketing analytics teams to monitor performance.
  • Ensure clear measurement and reporting of marketing efforts, enhancing materials as necessary.
  • Drive operational efficiency within the public market investments marketing team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across AM Marketing and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in a similar role within a leading financial institution with measurable impacts and achievements.
  • Prior experience liaising with both product and marketing functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the asset management industry and ETFs, including clients, products, regulations, and competitors.
  • Ability to present investment views clearly and compellingly, synthesizing information from multiple sources.
  • Well-developed strategic thinking with commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated integrated marketing skills across strategy and execution.
  • Track record of working effectively across complex organizations with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS); MBA and/or CFA preferred.
