About the position

The Vice President of ETF Marketing at Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management will lead the global growth of the ETF franchise. This role involves collaborating with client-facing business leaders and ETF investment teams to develop marketing strategies, product positioning, and content creation. The position is critical in driving awareness and affinity for the firm's ETF investment capabilities, ensuring alignment with overall business growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build awareness and affinity for AM's ETF investment capabilities through strategic marketing plans.
  • Develop unique ETF product positioning in partnership with business leaders.
  • Implement marketing plans for new ETF product launches and major announcements.
  • Oversee the creation of ETF product-specific marketing collateral.
  • Map out a coordinated product-specific calendar in harmony with AM's content calendar.
  • Collaborate with Media Relations to showcase ETF investments.
  • Work with market researchers to leverage insights and monitor marketing performance.
  • Ensure end-to-end reporting and measurement of marketing efforts.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory and procedural guidelines for marketing communications.
  • Drive operational efficiency within the public market investments marketing team.
  • Develop strong relationships across various teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in a similar role within a leading financial institution.
  • Prior experience liaising with product and marketing functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the asset management industry and ETFs.
  • Ability to present investment views and synthesize information effectively.
  • Well-developed strategic thinking with commercial awareness.
  • Demonstrated integrated marketing skills across strategy and execution.
  • Track record of working effectively across complex organizations.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS); MBA and/or CFA preferred.
