About the position

The Asset & Wealth Management Operations Associate role focuses on client onboarding and outreach, specifically in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. This position is integral to ensuring compliance and enhancing client relationships by managing sensitive information and collaborating with various teams within Goldman Sachs. The role requires a client service mindset and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for multiple Sales channels to coordinate successful KYC refreshes of high-profile client relationships.
• Understand the end-to-end onboarding process including KYC, AML, Due Diligence, Distribution Agreements, Legal, and Tax.
• Coordinate complex Onboarding/KYC reviews involving sensitive client relationships.
• Participate in regular meetings to maintain clarity around workflow and understand changes to regulations or expectations.
• Develop a clear understanding of bespoke client requirements and offer guidance on operational supportability.
• Review and maintain internal policies and procedures to increase automation and scalability.
• Research and identify inefficiencies and drive enhancements in processes.
• Ensure regulatory and company compliance standards are met and changes coordinated among appropriate teams.
• Provide management/board reporting and information for ad-hoc management requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of and interest in financial markets and products
• Minimum of three years' working experience in the financial industry or a client-facing role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of KYC, AML, CRS, Due Diligence, and Distribution Agreements preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage high volumes while collaborating with a global team.
