About the position

At Goldman Sachs, we connect people, capital, and ideas to help solve problems for our clients. We are a leading global financial services firm providing investment banking, securities, and investment management services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments, and individuals. For us, it's all about bringing together people who are curious, collaborative, and have the drive to make things possible for our clients and communities. The Private Lending Services team is looking for a professional who can collaborate with regional lending managers, private lending underwriters, global client financing, credit, legal, and other operations teams to perform critical control functions in a rapidly growing business while delivering an excellent client experience. Operations is integrated within our businesses and delivers banking, sales and trading, and asset management capabilities to all our clients. We work to protect the accuracy and efficiency at every step of the trade. For example, if a company wants to buy a block of stock, Operations first ensures that the stock and payment are ready to be traded. Next, we make sure that the trade is settled properly and on time. And finally, Operations confirms that each trade is reported accurately to the buyer, the seller, the firm, and the regulators. Along the way, Operations looks for anything that could expose our clients or the firm to financial loss, penalty, or other risks. Operations does this for every transaction all around the world. Operations also aids in the design of the technology, the information flows, and the processes that make it all work. We constantly monitor these systems and reengineer them to keep everything running as efficiently as possible. Wealth Management Operations is responsible for front-to-back operational support to the Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Private Wealth Management, and Ayco businesses in service, delivery, and processing functions across the trade and client lifecycle. The Private Lending Services (PLS) team is a high-value control middle office team in PWM operations that supports the PWM Private Lending organization by originating new loans through GS BANK USA and GS International Bank to PWM clients and Private Equity Firms in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia. Additionally, the PLS team ensures clients are in compliance with federal regulations at the time of origination, funding, and ongoing maintenance through the life of the loan.
