About the position

This position in the Financial Services Tax practice at PwC focuses on providing tax advisory services to clients in the Asset and Wealth Management sector. The role involves advising clients on their local and international tax obligations, helping them navigate complex tax environments, and developing innovative tax solutions, particularly in relation to renewable energy. As a Manager, you will lead a team, coach others, and contribute to the strategic direction of tax services while ensuring compliance and addressing operational tax risks.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on local and overseas tax affairs and obligations.
• Act as a strategic consultant related to business analysis and profit sharing for partners.
• Help organizations understand pricing implications of goods and services between related parties.
• Provide advice on tax implications of deals and transactions.
• Assist clients with tax structuring in a changing tax environment.
• Develop new skills and resolve issues that prevent effective teamwork.
• Coach team members and encourage personal development.
• Analyze complex ideas and build meaningful recommendations.
• Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
• Manage various viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax advisory services.
• CPA, Member of the Bar, or other relevant tax or finance credentials.

• Experience with complicated partnership structures.
• Familiarity with tax matters relevant to the renewable energy industry, including tax credits and asset depreciation.
• Knowledge of automation and digitization in professional services.
